Training Curriculum
(A) Styles currently been taught in classes :
1, Wu Style Tai Chi.
2, Six Harmonies Praying Mantis Boxing (Liu He Tang Lang Quan).
(B) Training courses outline:
1)Traditional Wu Style (Northern lineage)83 forms. 25 lessons to complete
including two (1.5 hour each) theoretical lessons; one hour per lesson one
lesson per week .
Total 26 hours in
25 weeks.
2) Tai Chi pushing hands class. A 15 lessons course includes some theoretical
lessons. One and half an hour per lesson, one lesson per
week.
Total 22.5 hours
in 15 weeks.
3) Wu style 45 forms for competition. A 10 lessons course.
One and half an hour per lesson one lesson per week. Total 15 hours in 10 weeks.
4) Six Harmonies
Praying Mantis Boxing for Self defence. A 9 weeks training course for every
single set of the Mantis traditional routines.
One
and half an hour per lesson, one lesson per week. Total 13.5 hours for 9 weeks.
5) Taoist Chi Gong
meditation work shop. An Intensive 10 days training during long holidays. Two
hours daily, Total 20 hours for the whole course.
6) Apparatus
courses. Either Wu Style Tai Ji Shi
San Dao (sabre) or Mantis Double Hand Sword. 10 lessons course for
either of them, one and half an hour per lesson, one lesson per week. Total 15
hours for 10 weeks.
(C) Classes level and contents:
Beginner class--- Basic body conditioning and technique units.
Traditional Wu Style (northern lineage) 83 forms. Taoist Chi
Gong meditation workshop.
Intermediate class--- Technique units and Tai Chi push hands,
Pile stance training. Taoist Chi Gong meditation workshop.
Advanced class---Technique units and Wu style 45 forms for
competition. Six Harmonies Praying Mantis Boxing for
Self defence. Apparatus and Taoist Chi Gong meditation workshop are also
available.
